start ideas, never finish

does anyone have any issues with starting an idea, but then just never finish?

I've had many ideas come into my head, but i never seem to continue to go through with them.
I try to organize my apartment, just to find that i cant keep up with it.
I came up with this idea that i need to do a craft class, because I love making things.  I still have a chance to continue with it, but dont know where to start.
I try to start a new habit just to find myself going back to my old ways.

One thing I have found easy is drinking 2 cups of tea a day!  Maybe starting super small is my way of accomplishing something.

i pinterest to make funky crafts

Hello everyone,

Just like to say, who else likes to pinterest?
I nanny and i have created many different crafts using pinterest.  A month ago, i created sensory bottles from old water bottles that have noodles, water and one with soap and water.  Ive created a timeout bottle for my twin girls using water, oil, glitter glue and glitter.
Just recently, i created a ribbon pull from a dollar tree gift box and dollar tree ribbon.
I plan on making many different activities for the kids I nanny for.  Their birthday is coming up and I plan on making a collage of photos in picture frames and making lanterns.

My greatest past time is getting creative and making crafts.  I plan on making a craft class and having others get inspired.  I have inspired my girls to help and I really hope to see many other peoples on pinterest projects!

My princesses are starting kindegarten preschool

Im pleased to say that my girls will get to start kindegarten preschool, pre-k on tuesday.  Its amazing and scary at the same time that after 4 and a half years, our girls will be off to school and learning all the new and exciting things out there!
What are some of your stories when your child(ren) went to school?

Also what was a tradition that you started for them so you could see changes every year?

Ive seen this cool idea that you get a t-shirt made that shows the year they graduate and have them take a first day of school pic every year.

Its time to get crafty. 
Its the fall/winter time and soon we will be stuck in our homes just praying for spring in minnesota.
Ive decided to take on an interesting task and to try and come up with 365 days to be crafty on the cheap from the dollar store.
Did you know that you can create all kinds of crafts for all seasons, birthdays and more?

my new thing is finding homemade cleaners, i have gotten very hands on and do it yourself. 
i have been doing lots of mod podge, and made some coasters and pictures for the family i nanny for.

hello everyone

finally time to get back on this and update.

august 2012 i welcomed another baby into my family, a little boy.  his name is tommy, but nicknamed tl.  he loves his sisters and now is about to crawl.  scary.

another update is i made the transition from daycare teacher to nanny.  what a wonderful change, plus i am able to start putting together other ideas that i want to complete.  one of these ideas is becoming a post partum doula to families with twins.  the other idea is to bring this stilleto mom group to minnesota.  hit me up if you would like to find out more.

      

Its been a while since I have posted on my site.  I have been working alot and being with my family!!  I hope all is good.  My girls are almost two years and eight months old.  They are three feet tall and weight about thirty pounds.  They are adorable and love to talk.  Their favorite movies are A bugs life and Cars.

Welcome back to my blog!

A lot has happened since I have been on here last!
Girls have turned 2, been in school for 4 months, they absolutely love it.  In February I was offered a full time position as an assistant teacher.  Since then I have been preparing for taking over as lead teacher in our room.  Its a very exciting and stressful time.  We are in the process of finding an assistant teacher, and the one that we hired isn't working out.  She doesn't pay attention to the kids when I need her the most to be helping out with the kids.


We have been doing great!  There has been plenty of struggles, the girls father and I had been fighting, I hadn't been trusting him.  We had since took a week away from each other, we discussed our issues and what we have to work on.  Since then, we have been doing very good.  We are more like a family now then we have been in the past.


As for the girls, they are getting so big, they are almost 3 feet tall, and only 2!!  We have upgraded to 3t clothes, almost size 8 shoes.
As for struggles, each family will have the same issues, we struggle everyday.  Its the pure fact of life that we have to make choices that will either make us or break us.

I have learned that others want to be informed, stimulated, motivated, and educated. Well check in on the daily life of a single mom with beautiful twins!!

Motivation will always keep me moving, with my girls, my boyfriend, my job. Children help us to push harder, boyfriend to help me feel good, job to interact.

Motivation and intrique is what gets me going in the morning. I supply my twins with the upmost respect, and look for their smiles.

For all single moms its a relief to here other friends and family tell you how much your children are well behaved! I just had that great warmth this weekend!

Easter is a time to be with family, play the easter egg hunt, and enjoy a great feast!!! Also remember jesus made this happen!

Wow i am being bad!

I am not doing a good job at updating this!  Well its been 2 weeks since the girls turned 2!  I can't believe it time really does fly! 
Right now we are dealing with terrible twos and not listening when I ask for something to be done.  They both go to daycare now and when I come pick them up they dont want to leave and when i ask you ready? Nyura the oldest one says no all the time.


What can i do to get her to stop saying no?
