SNOW

This weekend Dec 11-12, we got 22 inches of new snow, blizzard conditions, and an inch an hour basically.  It was insane.  However, I would go outside with the girls, but after the snow fell there was the arctic weather that has come after it.  Its 2 degrees out, but with the wind chill its negative 15.... BRRR!!!!!
The girls love to look outside and say snow, the cutest thing in the world!

How do I get their father to notice me?

I feel like I have been neglected lately.  He doesn't treat me the way I should be.  He tells me he loves me, but makes it difficult for me to believe him. 
We have been having issues lately with the girls, they dont go to sleep when I ask them to or listen to me.  He comes in and they listen, but then gets mad at me because I reach my breaking point and need to step away for a little bit.
How do I get him to see my reasons?

How is your christmas/holiday season going?

Ready for christmas/holiday season to be upon us?  Did you get everything you wanted this weekend with it being black friday?  I saw so many great deals and I just wish that I would been able to buy something this weekend.  I love that I have this caretaking position, but now its time to land another job.  I need to be able to pay all my bills without having to struggle.  Its hard, but I love that I have such wonderful people around me that are willing to help, and be supportive!

Lately, I have been completely stressed.  Its always good to have positive people around you, to think in a positive tone, and not to bring people down around you.

Adjustment

The girls have been adjusting to the new move very well.  They love that they have their own room to play in, the eating schedule and sleep schedule!
Couldn't have been better!

Struggles again

Now since I have moved in with my girls father, it has been a huge adjustment. 
I am trying to stay as positive as possible, make it a good situation and not one that I will regret.

Monday Night Football!!!

My girls absolutely love football.  I got them to say touchdown when a touchdown happens, score when a field goal is made, and to say football. 
Its such a great feeling knowing that I am doing so good at being their mom!  BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD!
They also love that both of their parents are at home, they play with dad most of the day, and then at night its my time.  Reading, cuddle time, and then bedtime.
I dont know what I do, but we dont have fights, only a little screaming, and lots of understanding.  I think I figured them out, oh wait, it will change!

Im Back!!! :)

Sorry I haven't updated lately, moved last week, didn't get internet till today, helping my girls adjust to a new lifestyle.  Its been terrific.  The girls love having a schedule, both parents always at home, sit down meals, scheduled bedtime and naptime.  It puts a smile on my face!

Yay!! I have moved into my new place!! Anyone havr suggestions of where to look for freebies, and deals in the cities?

Yay!! I have officially moved in with my childrens father, and ready to take on the world just the two of us and our children.

Childhood memory

Taking a look back on when I remember my first halloween, I dont think it was until my brother was born, the halloween blizzard of 91!  That is the earliest one that I can remember.  My brother was born a week before halloween, and I went with a friend and we only went out for a little bit in our costumes and jackets, but came back a little bit later for hot cocoa. 


Such a wonderful part of the season!  Then comes the next two holidays.


What are you doing for thanksgiving and christmas?  Going to a family members house, going to have it at your house?  Just make sure that you remember that its the holiday season and that our children are the ones that need to benefit the most of the holiday.  They get to see cousins that they dont see much, get to eat cookies and treats and just have fun!

First ice cream cake

I decided to try and make a homemade ice cream cake from my brothers birthday today (24th) turns out it was AWESOME!!!  My girls tried it out, and were bouncing off the walls.  We have a beach ball in the house and it was literally bouncing off all the walls.  It was hilarious.  Too much sugar for two little girls!
The other thing I found out today, was that when I was cleaning off the table for dinner tonight, I noticed that my girls didn't have to step on their tippy toes to see over the table, OMG they are 33 inches tall now.  Not even 2 yet and they are 3 feet tall.  I definitely have basketball players in my family!

How is your relationship with your husband/partner?

I hope all are having a good day.  I have an open question, please answer when you see this blog.   I would like to know what is your love life like with your husband/partner?
Also would like to know how much of an impact does your husband/partner have on your children?


My children's father and I have decided to move in with each other, a huge step for us.  He wants to make sure that he has every moment to continue to bond with our twins.  He is truly a blessing even though we have had our ups and downs, but I feel that is what brings each other closer.

Being Sick

My little girls have been sick for the last week.  It hasn't been fun, however I am amazed how much they still want to do.  They don't want to stop playing, dancing, singing, eating, drinking.  They don't take extra naps.

They are such little angels, I went to my doc appt finally. oops!  It had been a year, were supposed to get shots, but they are sick, oh well.  I wanted to see how much they weighed more, shots are no biggie. 
Nyura my oldest is 25.4 lbs and Lilia is 24.5 lbs.  How funny is that!

Football

Good Day ya'll!  Day is a lucky day, I hope you made your wish at 10:10 today 10/10/10!!  I made a wish that I will get this job tuesday, get a place to live, and find a daycare!  I would love to a triple 3 for a wish! 
Anyways, today is sunday funday, football day.  My girls absolutely love to join in on celebration.  We high five, clap, and dance!  Its so sweet to see little girls getting into football at such a young age!

Had my first night away from my girls!!! As hard as it was to leave, it felt so good to just have a little peace and quiet. Make sure to always get alone time.

My girls enjoyed my cake more then I did!! The day was a blessing when god spared me the day of waiting to talk to someone about housing assistance. Family 1st
