How is your relationship with your husband/partner?

I hope all are having a good day.  I have an open question, please answer when you see this blog.   I would like to know what is your love life like with your husband/partner?
Also would like to know how much of an impact does your husband/partner have on your children?

My children's father and I have decided to move in with each other, a huge step for us.  He wants to make sure that he has every moment to continue to bond with our twins.  He is truly a blessing even though we have had our ups and downs, but I feel that is what brings each other closer.

I would love to hear stories about what your husband/partner does with your children?

I almost did not comment but here goes, My children are grown, I have a 34 yr old dd and a 32 yr old ds. My husband was the strong silent type still is, and he felt that my job was to take care of the house and children and his job was to work and take care of the "manly things" Now that we have grandchildren, He takes them to the local pond to see the ducks, and to the farm to see the horses and cows. He takes them to the park and pushes them in the swings etc. I am going to try to send you a friend request on facebook. If I can figure out how to do it you will see my youngest grandson. He just turned 5 in August.

Hubby and I have been together for 5 years. We have our daughter from his first marriage, our middle son from my first marriage, then our youngest son together. We have custody of the older two and my ex has never really been in the picture (which is for the better). Hubby makes it a regular thing to take the kids to do something on Saturday mornings without me. It's like a regular date for them and the kids love it. Sometimes they go to the park, sometimes breakfast at Nana's and Papa's, it just depends. During football season he takes the kids out to our backyard and plays "muddy" football with them (it's very rainy here). These are the things they're going to cherish when they get older and it makes me so proud of Hubby to see him do these things with them.
Equally, Hubby having a close relationship with the kids has positively affected our relationship. I love him with all my heart, but just a little more when I see him taking time to share special moments with the kids!
